Ancient Greek for Theologians (retraining)

Wed 8 pm CET = 2 pm EST

Created with Sketch.

Are you a Theology student or a professional Theologian? After many years of learning, do you still have problems with Greek? Have you read our related article? We have the solutions. With this course you will: 1) get a feeling for Attic Greek, 2) activate your passive skills, 3) get more confidence in dealing with the Greek language.

Why do we read The Greek War of Independence?
Because

  • this book is written in Attic Greek with a didactic progression and
  • there is no translation of it, so you are forced to deal with the original text.

What Our Students Say

Raffaella (Italy)
“Dear Speaking Latin team, it has been a pleasure to attend your online courses, as we read many Latin and Greek works and figure out their meaning together. The instructor's explanations are very helpful.”

Juan (USA)
“I started learning Latin by myself some years ago, which has always been difficult without guidance. Now that I am studying at Speaking Latin, I am definitely learning faster and notice how my speaking and listening skills are improving.”

Alica (Germany)
“Whenever we read Latin texts in class, the students help each other and what seemed difficult at first becomes clear and understandable. It is so much fun to talk Latin all the time without having to resort to English.”

Christian (Switzerland)
“It is just simply fun to learn ‘Living Latin’ from Luca. His teaching is creative & imaginative, witty & funny, yet at the same time philosophical, deep & relevant to our age. ‘speaking-latin.net’ is absolutely a treasure of ‘Latinitas Viva’.”

Elaine (Brasil)
“I found a real treasure: speaking Latin about Erasmus, like Erasmus! I wish I had found you earlier! Thank you for this great opportunity to learn together with friendly classmates and an admirably knowledgeable instructor.”
